Compliance Track
Tuesday, April 16, 2019 - 1:00pm to 2:00pm

Leaders place responsibility for getting things done in the hands of key leaders in the organization.  The EMS agency “Chief Compliance Officer” (CCO) is a relatively new position and many top leaders are not exactly sure what to expect – or are unsure about what the compliance officer should be doing. Cultivating the proper role for the compliance officer is about managing expectations – and making certain that you and your compliance officer are on the same page. That means senior leaders must know precisely what the compliance officer should be doing from a macro and micro point of view to ensure accountability. This session explores the role of the CCO and the critical working relationship that must exist between this key position and others in the organization – especially other members of the leadership team.
