A major obstacle to accurately assessing and processing ambulance claims is getting the information we need from facilities. This session will discuss strategies to improve the “flow of information” and outline examples of the good, bad, and the “nonresponsive” information that EMS agencies get from their partner facilities. We will also address specific documentation that you can obtain from those facilities to help support claims for payment for the valuable services that you provide to the facility’s patients.
